CIL 2008 Is Coming Up

I'm looking forward to Computers in Libraries 2008. CIL has always been a good start to the conference whirl which will hit its peak, for me at least, this summer with SLA, ALA, and AALL. This year, CIL is at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, VA. If you are interested in this conference but want to know more about it, check out the official CIL 2008 site. This conference is always a good learning experience and I will be blogging at CIL so I can share some of my takeaways with you. Keep checking the Government Info Pro for conference posts.

I usually see a number of government librarians at CIL and if you are attending, I hope to see you there.

Remember, you can register to just get into the exhibit hall and I believe that it is free. So, if you are in the Washington DC area, you might want to check it out.

Also, this year marks the Second InfoTubey Awards, this Tuesday evening session is open to all registrants, exhibitors, and exhibit visitors. Get more information on the 2008 InfoTubey Awards presented to organizations or individuals for outstanding library-related productions on YouTube.

Here's the CIL 2008 conference wiki.
