Computers in Libraries 2008
I always look forward to Computers in Libraries in the spring. This year CIL is at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, VA. The conference runs from April 7 - 9, 2008. Pre-registered attendees (including conference delegates, speakers, exhibits-only visitors, and exhibitors) hit almost 2,700 as of 4/3/2007. This year, Information Today, Inc. added a first track of conference programming. The exhibits open on Monday morning instead of Monday evening giving more access to the exhibit hall. More wireless service has been provided and more outlets will be found in the session rooms! (As a blogger, I really appreciate this.) An attendee lunch is scheduled in the exhibit hall on the last day of the conference, Wednesday, April 9th.
Tracks include:
- Information Discovery and Search
- Web Design
