Module 1 Description:
The LexisNexis Certificate of Mastery Series for Government Librarians is composed of two separate half-day modules. Module 1: Legal Research on Lexis.com will concentrate on legal research on lexis.com.
Get the most out of your primary law research by taking full

Core Terms and Core Concepts to enrich your research of caselaw,
statutes and regulations. Draw on the full power of the Shepard’s®
Citations Service as both a cite-checking tool and a research tool.

Area of Law Specialty Tabs, Search by Topic and Area of Law, and more.
Then move on to working with analytical resources on lexis.com.
Thoroughly investigate the types of sources that provide an overview of
a legal topic and explore new methods of seeking insight and background
information on an issue. Discover how to use a broad range of
analytical resources on lexis.com.
Program Description:
The Certificate program is a great way to keep up professionally.
Refresh and enhance your search skills on lexis.com. You'll take
the classes with other government librarians and will receive a
certificate for the completion of each 1/2 day program.
So come network with your colleagues and dive into LexisNexis
research. All classes are
taught by Marie Kaddell, LexisNexis Senior Information Professional Consultant
for Government Librarians.
